The diodes will allow current when I switch the defogger on to go one way, when I switch it off it will not continue to go back? I guess I don't understand the function of the diodes I will have to use, and of course I have to use two.

So for example the red/yellow which is headlight relay used for idle up, and the purple which is idle up for defogger. What wires off the jza70 hanress should hook up to those two wires? Also the STP signal is not used I guess, or not really important on our cars?
