The stock 2JZGE usually makes less power than the GTE with the same modifications. I believe the biggest restriction for the GE are the cams. Not many people run upgraded cams in the GE so it's a lot harder to do a side-by-side comparison.

For me a gallon usually lasts about 500 miles or so.

I pay $7 per gallon. I know I could get it for cheaper but I don't drive my car that much and it's really convenient.. much better than paying $15 per gallon at home depot for denatured alcohol.

I'd recommend the Blitz SBC ID, if you can find one. Has 4 boost maps, safety features, built in boost gauge and when you use it with the power meter ID it has boost by gear. Edit: Sorry for not answering your question Seth ;)
