as long as it reads open and closed, fits with the tb, and is fine as far as hooking up correctly(which is perfect since clips are identical), then will i be okay? sorry to jack your thread man, but i really need to know and i don't wanna start another thread, i'll give it back...

damn it. i have an n/a one....it made me wonder because of that exact reason, but it fits just fine on my q45....will it mess up anything aside from fitment?

not sure if this would matter or not but....is the tps new? what color is the sticker on it? My car originally had a red sticker, but i replaced the tps during the rebuild and it faced a different way than the original did, but the new one had a blue sticker, i have yet to run it, but perhaps...

got ya. but say the machinist did not put the gears on correctly(if it is possible) how do i indicate that the cams are in the correct spot? does anyone know?

will do. not sure if you are familiar with the chilton's manual on our cars, but that is all i had at the time (i have the real deal tsrm now, wish i did then) but he requested i bring it to him(him being my machinist) for the little odd's and ends, i'm not sure if this would be listed in there...

well i took out the plugs and got a socket on the crank pulley bolt, it was rough for a little bit, but after that it strangely freed up like initally was at 0*-10* all the way around, not abnormally loose but i wasnt popping any blood vessels anymore

that was the battle plan, but i was just seeing if it was my classic stupidity shining though again. And if they dont? just adjust them accordingly? but am i right about the whole cps procedure thing, and shouldn't my cam lobe be in that position at tdc?
