LOL.....nicely done though! I was reading through their forum and surprisingly no one bashed him....there were a few "i wish you didn't do that to an M5" but overall the positive response surprised me.
Sounds like we need to get a meet together! Sonic on Beach and St.Johns Bluff, this Saturday @ 8. Lets see who can or cannot make it and if need-be we can change the time/date.
Now that I am used to my throttle response with the Q45 TB, it is less of an issue. Initially i thought that something was wrong with the TPS but its just the way it is. I would be interested in one of those TB wheels as well if you end up making more than one....
Rub even with a rolled fender? Damn i was kinda hoping i could fit 275 on it.....I want to leave about a finger gap between tire and fender. Would I have to screw around with camber settings to get it to look right like some other guys on here have talked about ? Thanks for your reply!
are you talking about the oil pressure sender? I usually get it by hand...not to say im Arnold Schwarzenegger or anything but after some pressure it lets go. I dont have any experience with mounting it in a different location so if it where me, i would get an adapter and use the same location
i am thinking about 19 by 9.5 in front and 19 by 10.5 in the rear, +25 offset all the way....Other than rolling the fender, what else would be needed to get these bad boys to fit?
Good looking car! There is a way to monitor and change timing with the maft-pro. It is not as easy as installing a chip as some soldering is required but it is not too difficult. The Maft-pro community on fullthrottletech.com is working out some new software for timing control for the MKIII and...
Not insluting your intelligence but did you remember to wire the maft-pro with HAC modified ECU diagram? My resistor is at the AFM plug and it works fine.....My thought was maybe that HAC code is also causing the 24? Sorry bud im not well versed in the HAC system but those are just some suggestions.
Im running 680s and the mainscale is set at -15. The car responds well on and off of boost so i just left it. The mainscale on the 550s is usually set at
-10. I would start with -20 and go from there.
