Good to know. Thanks for your reply! The wiring......I soldered all of my wires, did you? I know that the TPS is just a resistor and resistance changes with heat, so would the solder cause some resistance or no? Im still a relative noob when it comes to electronics so bare with me! Thanks again
Hey guys!I am using the q45 tps with the maft-pro and Im having serious issues with drivability. I could be cruising on a hot day and see the ohms of the tps jump from .38 to 1.28 in a flash. The problem with that is that my WOT readings are dialed in at 1.2 on the maft pro. So I am cruising...
Im going to AN fittings for the PCV system.....I am wondering what size I should use....I tapped the valve covers for 1/4" but its looks like it may be too small paired with -6 line. What about 3/8 and -8 line?
thanks
Thanks guys, I appreciate it! I partied like an animal last night, still recovering! Luckily I did not drive otherwise i would have had to leave the Supra to the beach bums for the night because I was in no shape to drive!
I just got my BBA from the University of North Florida! Too bad it happens to be during an economic crisis....:3d_frown: Luckily i have a job! Law school is next! Expenses never end, Im finding this out the hard way!
Hey guys! My Q45 TPS is bad and I was wondering if someone knows what year TPS we can use off of the Q45. I know that there is only a particular kind that works but down know which. If anyone has a part number that would be great! I tried calling an Infinity dealer and the parts guy there was...
as long as you are not getting a 51 and as long as you have no "flat spot" in your throttle I would leave it. The tracking parameters in the Pro apply only to open loop operation and because your wideband is still plugged in, I would not worry about those at this time. You can get a pretty good...
Check that.....actually before cranking the car...the TPS reads .28 and then after I fire it up goes to .32....I have no idea why that is. Granted I do not have a code 51, and I am not experiencing sluggish throttle response. So it works for me!
At idle the optimal reading is .385 according to Sean (the original guy who did the mod) I have only been able to dial in .32 and it is working well for me. Set TB size to 9 on the Maft-pro. 4.93 sound right at Wot.....I will double check though. Hope that helps, Val.
