thanks for the compliments guys, I have thought about getting new wheels at some point, with an even bigger offset in the back.....Ive always liked these:

also plan on doing a 60 trim, just ran out of money when it came to...
yea, its also been killin me though...and my wallet lol not easy for a college student to get this much done in a couple of months, ive been woring my ass off for it. Its been worth it in the long run though, have been close to giving up a few times though lol
where the hell have you been lately? lol thanks though, and yeah those wheels have been on there for the last 5 years or so, their BBS 2 piece staggered...I wouldnt mind getting something different, but just not top of the list type of thing. lol
thanks, yea, the intercooler is off ebay, normally I hate ebay stuff but the FMIC and the piping I got off of there. I think I payed around 160 for the IC and 130 for the piping
heres a few new ones, first time Ive really had the car out since last fall... still need to finish a few things under the hood, and get the fog lights back in.
and heres one of the bay
what do ya think?
yea, when I coverted mine to 134a it was never the same, Although I ended up taking every bit of my A/C out when I went FFIM. Yea, but I would say if its still working take X's advice, dont do it.
the godspeed one is pretty fugly, Heres a pic of the one I got off ebay, normally I wont go with Ebay parts but for the IC and pipes its pretty much all the same. I payed around 165 for this one, welds are decent and the craftsmanship is pretty good.
Here's another thing to think about, lets...
there is an extra sensor depending if you have the ABS or not....and I believe that the speedo gear changes sizes between post and pre 89. There should be one plug for the Neutral start (big round plug coming from the passenger side, you will have a small 3 wire square plug for the selanoids...
I honestly think that that would be worth it if your breaking the 154's that much, hell i think that would be nice to even use as a DD/ strip car. the price kind of comes with the saying: cheap, reliable, and fast....pick two lol
what you hear is compressor surge...thats bad on the turbo... where do you have the bov mounted? its best to have it as close to the throttle body as possible for best results, also the vacuum sorce is best to have it directly off the intake manifold or as close as you can get it.
intercooler piping etc is one thing, I dont agree with the knock off BOVs though as a few others have stated, im just not willing to take the chance on stuff like that that can effect your motor or turbo life
ok, thanks any info is good before I try this...I dont want to tear up a perfectly good speedo gear
OT: where have you been hiding? lol havent seen you on in awhile.
Ok, I know there is a different one for each gearing, but what about between the auto and manual? or post and pre 89? Ive got like 3 or 4 in various G/R's but not 100% sure what they came out of, Iv'e got a 3.9 thats got a smaller gear and about 1/2 wide, then another thats a bigger diameter...
