Same here, I never even noticed in mine. I also have a 4" exhaust but my exhaust is near silent when the windows are up, and the only way I can even hear the buzz is with the radio all the way off and actually listening for it.
bringing back my old thread.... just for giggles ran into this guy again, turns out this car was infact a real supercharged saleen and had all the badging on the motor along with the supercharger. It has a lot of miles on it and the guy can't drive worth sh*t. Just thought it was funny.
get LED replacements off superbrightleds.com and you can change it to whatever color you like. They're bright and you don't have to get the nasty overlays.
Use a different port directly off the manifold, that vacuum line your using doesnt not always have a vac to it hence why you could be getting compressor surge.
yea without that sensor your cold start injector is not going to know when to turn on/off. If you don't want to go to the dealer I believe I have one laying around for a 89+.
Even though your valve works fine your switch might be bad, it's what lets the vacuum get to the valve.
Try doing this to see if it works just to check, all your doing is bypassing the switch so you always get vac to the valve.
EDIT: sorry I just realized you said you already tried...
^^lol Ian
You can just use a 3 wire as JJ said so you don't have two grounding wires, just get a universal 02 for a GM 3800 motor, it shoud be around 34 bucks if I remember correctly.
its not that hard to swap.. If you have any sort of electronics knowledge it doesn't take that long, I've done it on my own car and a few locals... I believe I only charged them 25 bucks or so. Takes me around a half hour to do the whole thing.
Go into radio shack, they don't have all the...
seriously though, you need to stop....what everyone is posting in response to you is taking away from the OP's question. If your not 100% sure that the info your posting is valid, please don't.
:sarcasm:
ok seriously... you need to do your homework before you post... Fuel cut is in no way determined by that. Fuel cut is controlled by the frequency of air that is being pulled into the AFM, Fuel cut is around 1500hz.... when you up to a lex air it takes more air for it to hit that...
yes, holsets came stock on turbo diesels....and people do run them on supras...but that is the first time I have ever seen one combined with a CT compressor and exhaust housing.
so you use their underdrive pullies too? and no they're not the same factories or even in the same countries.... remember: cheap, fast, and reliable... pick two.
dont really worry about cleaning it out just with oil being through the exhaust side....the minute you start running it it will burn off fairly quick due to it getting so hot. both sides do come off, but if you've never done it before you can mess it up.
Ive seen some of the Turbo XS ones seize up at random times. take it off and you should be able to push the piston in and return....other than it seizing check you vacuum line.
