I went with 17's because I wanted bigger rubber on mine for the muscle car theme I was going for.
Centerline Matrix 5 spoke,
Rears: 17” x 9 ½” (6" backspace), with 285/40/17’s Khumo MX tires.
Fronts: 17” x 8” (5 1/2" backspace), with 255/40/17’s Khumo MX tires.
That's no shit, total garbage. I put a kit on mine when I installed the engine, I made a billet bracket and mounted the filter sideways on the center of the front sway bar. When I started the car, the stupid hose swivel leaked like crazy, brand new part.
Then I looked at the whole thing and...
Those vents serve a purpose, they would pull a ton of heat out from the engine bay, especially on the hot side. I think they would look pretty cool on a newly painted car.
Congrats Nate, awesome car, to be honest I have never even seen any details of your car before, it is amazing, great job. Also congrats to Kevin and Malloy on the honerable mentions. Two more very awesome machines and definitely represent the mark very well. Keep building these badass cars guys...

The bottom photo is a chop of how I want it to look when done.
Great job, and don't worry about the dust and drips. All nice paint jobs get color sanded before they look so nice. They make some new buffers and pads that are guaranteed to not burn through your paint, I would recommend one of those. They also make 3000 grit sandpaper to put on DA sanders...
