Got mine mounted under the passenger side head light above the intercooler piping. The filter is sideways vs straight down.

Jdubs setup is better. Sideways is probly way less messy than straight down (oil spilling down your sleeve while you are trying to unscrew the filter as fast as possible)

I have mine mounted on the drivers side strut tower close to the cruise control. Its so easy to get to, unfortunately its angled ever so slightly downward from horizontal so I have to wrap a towel around the area to keep it clean.

DO NOT use the trans dapt (TD) relo kit....the lines suck...
That's no shit, total garbage. I put a kit on mine when I installed the engine, I made a billet bracket and mounted the filter sideways on the center of the front sway bar. When I started the car, the stupid hose swivel leaked like crazy, brand new part.

Then I looked at the whole thing and thought to myself, "Self, what the fuck are you doing? The stock oil filter is a piece of cake to change with a socket filter wrench, so why are you adding 9 more potential points of leaks to the car?" I then ripped the whole thing off and went back to the stock filter.
