Yup. This is just to light up the bulb.

If I wanted a power source to power an actual gauge, where would be the best place to tap? I may eventually put a different gauge in this spot that requires a power...
I need to steal power from the dimmer switch location for a gauge on my A pillar. What wire would I tap onto for a switched 12 volt source and a good ground? Couldn't find what I needed on the TEWD but that's likely because I am not too familiar with it. This is for an 88 if that makes a...
If you pull the CT, buy the soft line kit. I went through 5 CTs and never got the soft line kit but damn I wish I had. It is the most frustrating job I have ever done on a car but I got really good at it. Nobody should be practiced enough to be good at that job...
Seems like a lot of work to give your dash the rattle can look. I have a feeling mods like this are regretted by their owners. Especially if they try and sell the car.
The difference between a rock crawler and a sports car should be evident. This would namely be operating speed. As others have stated the operating speeds are well above that of a truck and with our gearing the shaft will turn at high velocity. If you have access to all the equipment to properly...
Raptor Racing has a great deal going on right now. Here's a link to the group buy thread.

I personally run one as well as many members on this board...
Is it really worth all that effort and danger to save $200? Buy a proper one and enjoy driving at freeway speeds without explaining why your dash is shaking loose.
Why don't you actually get under the car and figure out where the leak is coming from? Then, and I know this is a stretch, fix the leak! If you keep playing this game you will end up with rod knock.
I think that's what I will do. I already have the tap and it will allow the sensor to be as far into the stream as possible. I guess I will remove the hose/neck and thermostat so that I can catch all the filings somehow. Thanks for the idea.
I'm using the upper Samco hose but the lower one doesn't fit with how I have my power steering reservoir lines routed. When I redo those lines I should be able to get the lower hose to fit. I wish it was just a proper 7M fitment because I don't like how the 1J hose fits.
While the new front loading washers are good for the environment, they are not only more costly to buy but also to repair. All those complicated functions and touch pads require a few circuit boards to run. Have one of those boards die out of warranty (this happens often) and you're out $600...
I hated the silver and its going to be mounted on top of the steering column so it had to change. I also did some more important things. I cut the intake pipe so the filter fit properly behind the overflow. Then I figured out the wiring for the MAFT pro so its ready to go in. I put in the pillar...
Are you talking about the bushing that goes in the bottom of the shifter socket? Not too familiar with the C's shifter but I would imagine that it uses the stock bushing in this location. Pictures would help your cause.
Time to add pictures. I work better with visuals.
This is my current thermostat housing. The sensor has the 16x1.5 adapter on it and threads in nicely.
All the fittings I have. Haven't checked the thread size/pitch on the the other fitting but it's too large for any existing location.The...
