If you want a set of Enkeis, get some RPF1s. They can be had in great offsets and are very light weight. They are more than your budget but good wheels will be.
Did you use the S13 version? If so that the one I was considering and exactly where I would have placed it. Looks really good. Thanks for the picture. How do you have yours plumbed?
I likely could but the more I look at aftermarket reservoirs, the less I want to spend $100+. Moving the stock unit will get the car driveable and in the summer when I have income again I will order something pretty.
I would like to retain its function. Looks like I might be relocating the stock unit. It will look like hell but I know it will retain the stock function. Maybe I will get a new one so its clean.
Most of the custom ones I have seen have just a rad cap on top and a single port at the bottom. Will that work? Will the bird cage light be on? Not entirely sure how that sensor works. Which ones are you talking about that need to be shortened?
The spot I think I would like to move it to is...
So I am standing in front of my car, ovreflow in hand and I notice that there is no room for it anymore due to my FMIC.
So I pose the question, what did everybody else do? My options are to relocate the stock tank or buy a smaller/better shaped aftermarket and mount it somewhere. Just trying...
Custom fan shroud is built and the rad is in the car. Turned out pretty well. I wish the fan wasn't so fat but it fits. Now all I need is my new coolant hoses before I can fill it full of fluid.
Got all the lines made. Pretty excited. I've never made any AN lines for anything before and I think it turned out well. I hid the silver fittings and used all the red/blue ones where they would be seen. I should now have a properly functional PCV system that looks good. Don't want a catch can...
Bag of fittings showed up on my doorstep this morning. I'm not sure I'm happy with them. All the hose ends are silver instead of blue and red. I like the silver better but it doesn't match the rest of my fittings and the picture I saw was of red/blue ones. Guess I will just have to live with it...
Probably the reason you can't find anything is because the hp increase related to the rise in pressure is not a linear relationship. Also, the size of the turbo will also affect how much power can be made at a given pressure.
All that aside, a REALLY rough generalization I've heard used is 10...
Oh I think she understands all too well. That's why it scares her so much. However, yesterday she told me how much she misses the car so I can't be in too much trouble. I just wish I would stop adding to the "to-do" list and check more things off.
And this is why I shouldn't be allowed near the computer with my banking information. Just ordered a bit of IC piping, some couplers, Samco rad hoses and a small pile of fittings. All stuff I needed but when you buy it all at once it adds up. Just after I told the girlfriend I was done spending...
I'm just worried that the line to the TB will be too large since it will be the same size as the existing lines on the PCV.
Looks like I will be ordering some more fittings and lines. This is not going to be cheap. lol
