dude, this sucks, I tore it apart, (the right way) haha and turns out it was the wall socket, oh well, I learned alot in 15 mins. I can take on down to the motor in 5 mins now hahaha sweet.

Thanks for the info, Im gonna do the valve reshimming first and see if that fixes it. I also need to diagnose my super high idle. Since i changed my plugs and wires saturday shes been idling at 1250, gotta fix that.

damn thats cheap haha, well I had one of the mechanics here at work drive her for me, with me in it. I pointed out what I was feeling and he said there is definately torque being lost early on in the power band. he said the clutch is grabbing fine, and then I explained to him my whole valve shim...

My install took 3 hrs, I thought that was forever haha, my removal was around 2 hrs or so, but I did little things over 2 months. I talked to a guy that said ALONE he can have them out in 45 mins.

Got an R154 transmission in Houston I can have sent here when Im ready. GTE Clutch in the w58 and swap over right? I think Im just gonna get a normal clutch for now and get a new one for more power for the R154

Im N/A and I have NONE LOL but turns out my overall problem is most likely my clutch going out, I made a thread thats still ongoign right now in here.

Ill be hittin you up in the next month or 2 for that, is it really hard to accomplish? I did rebuild my engine last year but the tranny looks crazy to do. My 2nd gear synchro is going out and its time to fix her soon. EDIT: I just found this... TOO CHEAP...

My plans are going GTE sometime later this year. I live very close to Jarco and Im about to take advantage of that haha. While she is N/A I want her to be in top shape, so Im working out all the problems. This seems to be one of them. So well take care of it, the clutch has lived its life...
