    AEM Gen2

Finally watched the video. I'm not trying to call anyone out, but my car will idle smoothly at 500rpm with 720cc injectors. Aside from the 7M ignitor issue, it does not stumble at cruise either. Startup - about 1 in 5 times it will start like in the video, but the author did note the gen2...

    AEM Gen2

Hopefully for the 92T Supra. I'd also like to know if AEM is going to implement a better strategy for speed density vs the v1. A user defined ignition timing trim would be cool too - tied to the same analog input for the user def fuel trim (for ex: trimming both for E85 and blends in between)...

Suprafied and I have been watching this closely too.

    Suspension suggestions/ABS removal?

Has worked well for me for many, many years. I've found with the right braking and tires ABS won't get in the way as much, so it's been quite a while since I've run w/out ABS.

    ZERO Fuel at 2850 rpm

Maybe you're hitting fuel cut? Try -50% on the AFC.

    Freeze plug?

Yes, several times, and it's possible with the right sledge hammer without lifting the motor. That includes both the intake and exhaust sides. Geeze. :biglaugh: If you're careful enough you won't hit any thing else. I'm the one who found, long long ago back in the SOGI list days, that...

    Freeze plug?

I usually resort to an appropriately sized "impact" socket and a 4-5lb sledgehammer. The Snap-on and similar tools just don't work in the engine bay. I avoid using permatex or any other sealer around the freeze plug as more often than not the plugs with it have blown out. Even if just one...

Whats your fastest highway mph ??

BTDT in '98 IIRC, next to a Saleen 289 Mustang on I75S just outside of Detroit. We were on the way back from the Toronto meet.

I call bullshit on that pic, the temp gauge isn't pegged. :-)

    JZ coils and standalone EMS's

1ZZFE coil info on Motec's forums - connectors and dwell info. Found while googling for a picture of them. http://www.motec.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=374 Have we tried fitting them on the 7M head at all?

3000 GT ignitor wiring for a standalone

Uh-huh. I never said it wasn't. After owning one for 5+ yrs, tuning many of them including staged injection with dual fuels, custom injection/ignition schemes, etc...I wouldn't go *that* far. The GEMS board is nice, the AEM adapter is ok, the software and resulting firmware code leaves a lot...

3000 GT ignitor wiring for a standalone

Close, the factory ECU sends an trigger signal (IGt) and combination of IGa and IGb to tell the ignitor which of the three channels to fire. The ignitor controls coil dwell, drives the tach (IG-), and signals the ECU when there is a misfire (IGf). Switching injection from the AEM 7M default...

3000 GT ignitor wiring for a standalone

Great info! Can we build a list of recommended ignitors (car year/make/model/engine and part numbers)? Ideally also a list of connector parts to make this as plug and play as possible and coil dwell settings.

    Fuel Dampener Bypass

M14x1.5 I believe. I chucked the FPD in a box and switched to dual feed / center out back in 2002 but have only put about 10kmi on it since then. A friend drilled through the FPD at the banjo 1-2 times and has put >100kmi on it since.

    Replacing clutch softline, need info

This is specifically the short rubber line between the hardline and the slave cyl. It appears both ends are female 10mm x1.0mm pitch. Does anyone know what the flare is? Earl's has several variations of 10x1.0 to -3AN as I'm sure several other brands, but I want to make sure my hydraulic shop...

    Replacing clutch softline, need info

Thanks. I may just take the OEM line off the car and over to the hydraulic shop. I'm expecting some weird metric fittings they've never seen before will be the answer though. Nice sig btw! I was a regular at the Cleveland GP for quite a few years.

    Replacing clutch softline, need info

I'm replacing my clutch hydraulics and want to replace the stock softline. Can someone tell me what fittings I need and experiences with what brands of fittings/hose they have used? No offense to anyone but I'm not looking for "buy the driftmotion line" rather for information on specific...

You are wrong. From your own link: "Because casein is slow digesting, it’s not suitable for post workout. For post workout shakes, stick to whey. The best time to use casein protein is before bed and during the day. Casein is known as “night time” protein, as many strength...

Post workout you want a fast digesting protein such as whey or whey isolate so that your body can begin to use it as soon as possible. Casein digests slowly, it's not effective as a post workout protein. It's usually taken before sleeping to digest over several hours.
