Suspension suggestions/ABS removal?

I believe that I am taking a different approach to building up my supra then some of the other members, I'm in the SCCA and I'm actually building my supra to do better in the corners than in a strait line. The trouble I'm having is I cant find any threads on any forum that mention things like durable suspension upgrade parts, or abs removal (because abs can get in the way when your trying to break in specific ways). The reason I'm posting in this forum is because I'm actually swapping a 2jz-ge into the car right now I'm just waiting on my motor mounts. Any links or advice would help, thanks.

A-1 Makes camber rods, traction arms, toe rods, and sway bar end links for the rear end of the supra. All available from Horsepowerfreaks.com or direct from A-1

And definitely grab all new poly bushings for everything to tighten things up. Sway bars are a muct, ST or Tanabe. You will want new front endlinks too, some decent adjustable ones are sold on suprasport.com

Coilovers are obviously a must. Megan seems to have the best bang for your buck out there for the MKIII. Driftmotion.com has them available. Strut bars help a bit, theres tons to choos from over at 935Motorsports.com

Thats my recommendation to a pretty stellar setup for any track.

To remove ABS i know i saw a right up somewhere on how to do it, but cant remember where. Maybe someone else will chime in....

thanks for the posts guys, I actually already ordered the mounts with poly bushings from Bic Performance but if anybody on here does find out where there is something on ABS removal that would be awesome. i would just look at the mk3 that was designed with out it but there were one like a few thousand of them made and they were only released in japan :(

I havnt put much thought into the breaking system yet because ive been just working on suspension to handle the corners, I was going to sick with the tires that came on the car from the previous owner. their 215's I'm not sure if thats the stock size but thats what the previous owner put on it. and the breaks I was going to go with slotted and drilled rotors. But I havn't put much thought into any brands or anything yet.

Stock tire width is 225, so you might want to consider going with something like that.

Also, I'm sure you could unplug the ABS computer behind the glovebox and not have to worry about actually going through the trouble of removing the system if you don't want ABS.

I've got an 87 hardtop with no abs, which is currently undergoing a very similar transformation.

2jZ-GTE/w V160, KAAZ 2-way LSD, SCCA cage, Massive weight reduction, Kirky racing seat, custom steering column with 1.5:1 quickener, the engines in a bit lower and farther back then you'll get it with BIC's for better CG. 17X9 +15 front and 17X10 +12 rear/ 255 front and 285 rear tires. coilovers, custom 1 peice driveshaft. rear mounted battery.

And lots more stuff. if you have any specific questions i may be able to answer inregards to my similar build feel free and PM me. My car should be done by the end of may.

Edit: Oh BTW im using megan coilovers for now, while i get the car dialed in. next year i'll probably make up a set of one off bilsteins with remote reservoirs for my specific application.

Can just as easily pull the fuse as well ;)

ABS on the road, pull the fuse at the track...

Has worked well for me for many, many years.

I've found with the right braking and tires ABS won't get in the way as much, so it's been quite a while since I've run w/out ABS.
