Diabetes Thread - Do you have it? In the family?

I'm 43 now, and have known I have type 2 Diabetes since I was 39. At that time, I drank about a 2-Liter and 4-5 20 oz. cokes a day, plus a fountain coke with my junk lunch. Imagine this, I was pissing quite a bit. It had gotten to where urgent pissing was a problem, and I actually pissed myself...

    headunit screw size

I know this won't help you much, but if you are using an aftermarket stereo, you may not even need to use them. I have an aftermarket, and use a pocket over the top of it. I have to fight to squeeze them both into the bezel, and once there, they have no chance of moving. I actually have my...

    ForcedTorque's Slick/Quick Build

George has come and gone with Frankensupra! I haven't touched the car in 2-3 day now, and I must say it has been nice. Even without touching the car, there is a little progress being made. I did make my first ever attempt at making my own video. It had an awesome soundtrack to it, but...

    Bluechulappa's 89Turbo restoration

While I sit & surf unemployed I see a very nice 200,000 mile Supra that runs better than mine, and has a lot more gas in it too. Very nice!

How often do supras break down Literally.

Most Supra owners are broke, because there is no end to the modding. Power is a drug! They start to mod, so that they can hit "X" amount of power. Then, they feel that power, and read about others with more, and the cycle starts all over.

    ForcedTorque's Slick/Quick Build

So, George is coming to haul Frankensupra away tomorrow. Can't wait to see you George. I can't promise any fun drives yet. I still have to locate the coolant leak, and my idle is still way off. That's probably due to the ECU needing to learn idle, and while leaking coolant, I can't run it long...

Paint it first, then be careful installing the motor. Make it look as good as that truck. Get it running, and then fix the truck for a daily.

    supra in trouble

The BVSV is the part at the top of the water neck. It should have two vacuum lines running to it, but those nipples break off, so you may have 2, 1, or none at all. For parts: You sound like you need the number to Champion Toyota in Texas. I will post it in this post as soon as my phone...

How the heck do you fit the center console over the ABS ECU? *PICS*

I believe that is the only difference. I have both styles in my shed, I can get you a definite answer in a bit.

How the heck do you fit the center console over the ABS ECU? *PICS*

You could cut out the bottom of that, then lay the cut out piece over that air bag unit. You'd only lose the one screw hole in the center of that compartment, and everywhere else would remain the same. It would just leave the possibility for your pennies to fall through the cracks.:biglaugh...

    goo removal

I believe they are designed to be replaced if they are ever removed. If I remember correctly, you have to cut the gasket to get to the screws that hold it down. If you search through the articles section, I believe there is a write up showing how to replace them. "Dylan's How-To" is I believe...

    supra in trouble

Yes, if the battery is not good, the ECU will reset. That will has an effect on your idle as it has to relearn idle. The wire associated to the fuel pump, makes me wonder if your car has any power upgrades, such as a Walbro pump. A worn out dry rotted wiring harness can cause more headaches than...
