NO. Dont do it. The senders are different and work at different voltages. So it may work for you for a bit then freak out, or work for you for 1 second. I dont recommend doing it that way.
I use liquid wrench on mine. Hasnt froze up yet. Im here in ohio, its been getting down to the single digits. So might give that a try? Reapply the liquid wrench like once a week and you should be good.
I'm driving my supra on ice/snow for the first time ever. I just take it SUPER slow. And so far I have been fine. And I have no winter tires on mine. But will be getting them very soon. Btw this is my first time ever seeing snow. Lol, definitely an experience.

OK, so that would mean the ebrake pads inside the rotors are no longer used correct? Because you are now using the regular braking system.
Grim, would it still be legal if I moved the ebrake to the other side of the console? What I mean by that is, have 2 ebrakes. One on the driver side...
