yea, driftmotion sells transmission rebuild kits for like 200-300 bucks man.

Supras do not have lifters I believe. Believe they are called cam followers. As for the touching, believe the seats may need to be adjusted. Wait for more expireince to get in on this though.

When you put a tps on a car, you cant just bolt it on and have it within spec. It has to be put into spec. Tiny adjustments to get it to where it needs to be. So check that. Also whats the gap of your spark plugs?
