I used 3m. It worked nicely. No pictures of it though. Sorry. But I will say, no rust what so ever has appeared, and it looks very nice, after it has set.
Definitly have atleast 1 other person with you. Id say pull the trans with the engine. Just because some of the bolts to remove the trans are not exactly easy to get to, when its inside the car.

I have an Apexi Neo tuning the fuel. Not 100% on the tune itself, but I could always go check if need be. But every car is different, so my tune may be different then yours. But apexi neo is what Im using.

I do know my coil pack ground is VERY ragged. Can see bare wire on some places. As for the engine harness, its definitly seen better days, but seems to be ok. It just seems odd, because this problem is very random. Some days it never even hints of doing it. Others the rpms drop but never shut...

Cold idle with lights and heat: 14.67v

I was told it could be the regulator in the alternator. Any ideas on that jetjock?
