get a bronze disc from HPF. Good clutch disk that you can use when you upgrade your PP down the road, and proven to hold over 500rwhp. plus the breakin is really quick, which is a huge benefit if you dont drive the car that often.
i've got one with a TRD PP and it drives very nicely.
I didn't even know they had this, pretty slick: http://www.aemonly.com/electronics-ems-ecus-6/sensors-accessories-15/aem-12-position-trim-pot-the-too-soon-junior-knob-2207.html
right now I just have a switch for low/high boost, wired into the boost control solenoid. So low boost is simply the...
worst case, you can wrap your stock one yourself. I used this, it's a great kit with everything you need: http://www.carbonmods.co.uk/Products/Carbon-Fibre-Skinning-Starter-Kit__CMCFSK300.aspx
I'd be curious to see how many people bought Dowards brackets vs how many people have actually installed them. That was a good case of selling the bracket only, and letting the buyer choose their own caliper/rotor to suit their budget.
I picked up my rotors the other day, I went with powerslot, they were $197 Canadian with tax. I'm currently looking for calipers, may have found a brand new set.
IMHO setting the fuel cut pressure should be done right away, along with getting the engine started the first time. The tuner I dealt with first left it at 24psi even though I told him to set it at 16 or 17 (stock turbo, not much good after 15 psi). He then proceeded to overboost it and killed...
another option is email tuning. you send your setup to a tuner, and they build you a map. then you go back and forth, sending them datalogs and they send you back updated maps. I'm doing this with Bill right now, and it has been very helpful for cruising/low throttle situations. I would still...
Regarding cold start, there are different fuel tables for that. My car still has more work needed for cold start, but that's why datalogging is great. Log the cold start, go back and see what the motor is doing, adjust, and repeat.
Half my problem is that I don't have a cold start injector or...
I've got an AEM on my car, no problems with it. I'm running a GM 3 bar MAP and GM air temp sensor. It helps A LOT if you have a good tuner to work with. I'm working with Bill at Independent Speed Shop in BC, he is top notch.
I don't get the comment about weather and altitude? The AEM based fuel...
just don't accept the insurance companies first offer, its always a low ball. best bet is to try to find ads for cars in similar condition that are nearby, so search craigslist, local papers, etc.
