why not?
$16000/ 50.00/hr (extreme low balling) = 320 man hours or 8 weeks worth of work. In the grand scheme of things, not alot.
I keep telling the lot of you that time IS money. Those 50/hr is no where what any shop charges back. Usually the price is $75/hr which brings the break down to...
nah man. It does not work that way. Especially when the success of the company rides on your work. Anyone that has started a company with their own money will tell you that, you try to cut deals, give lee way just to land the business. It is hard when you are a startup.
again
time is money. What I get paid an hour. Yeah. I would go broke in a heart beat if I were to bill myself at that rate. I rather get paid for my time at work then do sourcing of parts. A bit of a premium but not that bad.
funny
they got radio coverage.
that reminds me of "the claw thief" incident!
edit: btw feel sorry for Japworks. They are new and tried to appease the customer and now since it was a sole propriatorship, they (the owners) are out 16k of thier money which is an awful situation to be in...

For real?
Repeat after me....
POWER STEERING

So care to clarify what you mean?
Can not be a 3.53
supra's never came with that.
it was either
4.1 (N/A)
3.9 (Turbo up to 88)
3.7 (89+ turbo)
3.5 Only came in the Toyota 4 Runner and I have not heard of anyone doing a successful swap as of yet.
So tread new ground and do the swap! ;)
Eagle rods, CP pistons, clevite bearings....
as long as the kit is that, a kit (meaning the bearings are for the rods, piston rings etc all drop in on the kit itself), than that takes the work out of sourcing all that by yourself.
Price is reasonable since they did the work. Keep in mind...
correct......
but only in a specific window of OEM operations on an OEM motor.
With that said, how does the fuel pump circuitry do the switching? Do it actually switch or bypass? yes there is a difference. Switching will causes a momentary loss of power to the fuel pump. Bypassing will...
