Short Shifters:: What are you running ?

You do not want to modify the height of the stick on a real short shifter. Reason being is that you lose the much needed leverage arm (due to change in fulcrum point) to shift to the next gear. Leave it at stock height.

    7m runnin twins?

for 400 hp. The Garret GT3072R does nicely. That is a single unit. To be different. Sure! That like someone shoe horning an LS7 into the MKIII supra, or a TT 1uz/2uz or or or. Different? There is nothing in these cars that has not been tried to make you "standout". Wait I lie. Perhaps a 12L...

24 hours of lemons! AND A SUPRA WINS IT!

man the Sofa-King supra... intresting mod! That exhaust.. To big for an N/A. My guess is that it is a 7m-GTE. The removal of the entire roof all the way back to the rear end. Knowing the pratt & miller guys. That supra is sub 2800 lbs. My guess is that they probably attacked the bottom to so...

Has anyone done 24 hours of LeMons??

Intresting... dig up from the old! My guess as looking at the huge "downpipe" that is coming up from the engine bay on that Pratt & Miller car. They are runng a 7m-gte! :o Also taking the entire roof off? That Supra was probably sub 2800 and venture to say that it might have been 2600lbs...

    Dyno: 1JZ Single GT35R and E85 602WHP/550WTQ

Well you thought wrong. Titan Motorsports (along with the rest of the guys) run the stock 2jz-GTE coils through a CDI-8 (or a hearty CDI system from the likes of M&W or Autronic, basically any Aussie CDI system) at about 1500+ hp for the entire race season. No issues.

    1jz Standalone Engine Management

knock control explosion detector after the explosion takes place.;) It is a reactive method and not a preventive one. EvilEmpire1.3jz-GTE (Tec³) (megasquirt) (AEMAEM) (AEMSTINGER) (AEMWOLF) (motech) That list? What is AEMStinger, AEMWolf?

    Overheating woes

How are they installed? I know it can not be side by side as the raidiator does not have that much surface area.... On a 13.5" setup, the fans are already going a bit overboard and hence need to be staggered to fit (like the Flex-A-Lite 292, 27" setup). Care to elaborate?

    Turbo Sizing

Well since this is afterall the Turbo technical subforums.... I have created a spread sheet that sizes a turbo to an engine (incase of this spreadsheet FOUR engines) and graphs it to a couple (8 actually) of the ball bearing series turbos from Garrett/Honeywell. The spreadsheet is locked...

    7m runnin twins?

And what about the piping? The oil lines? The down pipes, mid pipes? The intakes? The PVC? The compressor outlet to IC routing? so many things to address besides just the "manifold"!

4 bolt to v band waste gate adapter

Anthony for $50? I can see the 4 bolt being that little but the vband, with all the machining that requires to get it flat? Anyway. I take it the connection on the exhaust manifold is the 4 bolt and you want to go to the HKS Vband? Correct?

    Electric Fan

Say what? Basic electronics man. A DC motor pulls the most amps when it is at rest as the torque at 0 rpm is the greatest when current is applied to the motor. The start up amperage is staggering (usually in the order of 4x the running current). Once the DC motor is running it sustain amperage...

    No start

Guys, this is a technical forum. Please post technical facts. A spark plug DRENCHED in oil is due to oil dripping down to the spark plug galley FROM the valve covers. The Juggernaut Valve cover GASKET? It should be Valve cover GASKETS. Two of them not one ;)

    Code 31

heat shrink wrapping will not help in moisture protection. As a matter of fact, Heat shrinking will help in condensation pooling. For true moisture protection, you need heatshrink with glue inside of it. That is the only way to moisture proof a heatshrinked area.
