idle up more like it.
Unlike new cars that shut the TB completely. The TB is adjusted from factory for a certain low rpm and the IACV takes care of idle up request (Turn on A/C, Power steering input etc), cold start idle etc.
The only way a VPC is much easier is if you have the OLD 7m jumper harness for the VPC. Otherwise if hardwiring, it is as complicated as the rest of the piggybacks to include the emanage, MAFT-Pro etc.
a lie..
it converts MAP pressure into a frequency signal to feed the ECU. In otherwords scaling based on the Programmed ROM.
Works well but always limited to the stock TCCS for tuning and control.
engine harness has nothing for the A/C ;)
It is part of the ELECTRICAL harness and it is on both side.
A/C Clutch on one. And outdoor temp sensor, and pressure switches on the other side.
6m is not counter balanced.
7m is counter balanced
7m weighs more than the 6m but does not "whip" as much as the 6m.
SupraRich has pictures of both.. look him up.
lol
downside?
Oh plenty! Are you are prepared for a shit load of work AND to trace common path to EVERY OTHER Circuit which requires the ENTIRE Electrical harness be removed from the car in ITS ENTIRETY with all the junction boxes, fuse and relay boxes attached?
It won't save anything...
Of course it is not as accurate. It is a pretty good guess but a guess none the less. Hence the need for the AIT sensors.
AFM is measuring the air but for a given space but still needs AIT to make adjustment for temp density changes.
For instance the frequency of the air for the OEM MKIII...
ok there is an issue here.
Sequential is what the tractor puller use....
IE two turbos, first turbo gets the initial exhaust wave and 2nd turbo then gets the rest. On the intake side the compressor exhaust goes directly into the 2nd turbo compressor intake and the compressor exhaust of that...
Big stuff 3, if you have one the motors it is programmed for (mostly Domestic V8 in North America) it is a great piece.
The MoTeC on the other hand is hands down better just from configurability point of view from a software perspective. Add the other MoTeC goodies on the CANbus and it...
