..SupraSport
I remember the old owners. . I do remember there prototype. That thing was very nice but the ROI and if I recall, the foundary they were going to use went belly up.
Tilton is custom made for most applications. They keep very few full setups on hand but Tilton will hold just about any power the 7m or even a built 2j can throw at it.
with that said,
if going with a multi plate carbon setup. Most are custom and require a lead time.
wait.. there is a Supra FB filled with Delta Bravos and other CB's?
facebook.. nuff said. Never been on it. I do lurk around here and SF still. that is as far as my Supra involvement goes now a days.
Hi Grim and IJ. :)
are you reading off the stock o2 or is this a wideband?
if it is stock.. that is normal. the narrow band basically just bounces between lean and rich side. The TSRM states that a multimeter should bounce x amount of time for it to be considered in spec.
Ian is saying that it needs to. He had to do it with a non-stroked crank.
I did it on my stroked crank. HAD to.
It did not bump, it hit the shaft. Those pauter rods do not flex as much as H beam under those loads.
pauter all the way. (ps, they also are more than willing to make custom sized...
I see the clean up of the COP as an ok thing (Not great, not necessary).
blow out?
maybe in my old age I have alzheimer or dementia but didn't the 1000+ hp Buick GN swap there systems for...
the 7m-gte coils?
voltage reduction need to double the dwell time. you will not achieve the dwell...
The MKIII supra is the Angry Bird's (tm) worse enemy.
oink oink oink.
The Supra is a Grand Touring car NOT a sports car. take off everything and the only thing you will accomplish is having an uncomfortable daily driver that still is a fat pig for racing.
Off the spark plug material available, Copper is the best electrical conductor for spark plugs. They also move heat fast.
Iridium, any other *ium based plugs are a waste of $.
The K.I.S.S does apply to these cars ;)
prickle
if you do not have the money for it, believe me when I tell you (and as scottiedawg alluded to), if you have not scrounged up the money to buy the car, then you WILL have a hard time keeping the MKIII supra running.
the cars age require a ton of time and money investment in them. Once...
Turbo manifolds?
The correct statement is a cheaper alternative turbo manifold.
Full-race can do a custom one no problem. Except it is not inexpensive but quality is bar none.
Personally T4 is dated. V-Clamps is better.
Ron used to make them. but again, QUALITY cost. Open your check book folks.
forget that... the maintenance alone on these cars.
with that said and for chuckles.
The Newer BMW m6 twin turbos. Apparently they run on oil ;) lol... .5 qt every 700-800miles which is absurd but BMW says that is within parameters. I think they (BMW or Honeywell) forgot to put oil seals on...
How are you doing the bleeding?
the old fashion way or you using a bleeding "machine"?

I thought about it like that since it was my car since 1996, but when you take the emotion out. It really just does not add up. my stock 07 CTS riding on 150k miles. Paid off. Not one dime of hopups into it. lol
The auto requires four inputs from the tranny. IJ was running a separate tranny controller on his car to control the auto. And he was running a MoTeC M820 on his ride which has a ton of outputs. :/
