The windings are to small to generate heat that you will be able to feel before the windings give the ghost up.
.25 seconds = 250ms which is more than 10-15ms or put another way, a quarter of a second on a bipolar design. The stock design is really quick (if you look at the post, as jetjock...
here you guys go

can't believe I did that work nearly 7 years ago already. Back then, this was based on Tec3 but works with any EMS that supports bipolar (which is most) stepper control...
Flexfuel compatability needs two input on the EMS of choice
one is PWM and the other is frequency based (If using the GM or Ford based Flex fuel sensors).
gasoline is a good lubricant.
which Motec? Autosport or molded plastic connector? You already have the unterminated harness and connectors???
In New York right now?
One of the best in the country. Deals with Porches but does all things MoTeC (who I did my purchases through).

Hey money bags ;)
Following IJ. I had a ton invested in gold box options. I think I was close to 32k last price check.
M800 or M880 would be ideal but seems that MoTeC just finally got the bugs squared away from the M1xx series that they promised almost three years ago. They are learning first...
Q45 = on/off switch.
ideally (and of course depending on budget) you would want DBW from the LS2 vette. Post is in the stand alone forum explaining the "why" ;)
60 lbs hi-Z injectors are roughly 600 cc/min.
With that said, I don't recall if the "stang" injector sizing was close to the supra. Vaguely remember 14mm.
Dude,
not for anything but any EMS to include MoTeC is very basic in the electrical department.
Each sensor has a + and a Gnd. SOme have a senor wire (three pin), some only two (resistance). The stock data does no good at higher than OEM power levels.

look at there class schedule...
speed density as in a piggy back like the HKS VPC?
as mentioned by the others, it is going to get loud. Perhaps to some annoying, to others, they are deaf as it is loud. ;)
help installing it?
it should be cut and dry.
it should have a harness.
you just need to use the stock sensors, assign them to the pins and done. Not that hard really.
Then you use the MoTeC software to configure and done.
If you don't know the how, put the soldering iron and electrical tape...
No.
the problem is surface area.
the 2nd issue is that those 3600 cfm are at 0 pressure drop.. no such animal when you put a radiator on it. Leave the mechanical on, if it is broke, purchase clutch and stick with mechanical.
No. If you do not change ANYTHING except go from Gasoline to E85 and Adjust fuel system to safely run it by increasing fuel flow until correct lambda is reached for the application at hand. You will produce more "power". No Need to change piston compression, or head design or anything else.
In...
That is the problem with hearsay ;)
Alcohol burns COOLER than gasoline.
Burned valves? Best guess, running lean on alcohol, detonation. On a properly fueled system, the Alcohol serves as a temprature reduction (why Meth Injection works well when done right).
Methanol is magnitued worse for...
I know John reed tested this out. Just adjusting for Fuel increases but leaving all else the same (timing, same engine, same fuel pump, same car etc). The power output increased which coincides with the math.
I rather sink the $ into a car that is designed that way.
Think
CTS-V
E or CLS AMG
M6
Porchse etc
All MoTeC stuff was sold. I recouped about 90% of the cost. It keeps it's value really really good.
hold up.
on a per gallon basis. Correct.
On a lambda basis. Incorrect.
Politically, not my issue as that is what ALL of those capital hill folk get paid 6 digit salaries to contend with.
the math (chemistry) does not lie. No way to fudge it without introducing errors.
