specifically
the torque spec was never an issue for OEM use. It becomes an issue when you start upping the ponies by increasing boost or removing EGR or removing this and that without knowing what the "mod" has done to the basic operation of the motor. I never blew an OEM HG since the time...
the OEM one is a brass unit. If you could find an aluminum unit that would help with galvanic corrosion. More than likely it will have to be custom if you want it out of Aluminum.
remember depending on the copper content, the brass heat core might be better (thermal efficency) but it will be...
Anything that requires to be done CORRECTLY will require money.
with that said, if the HID bulb mounts are ANYTHING except DS1/DS2/DS3, then it is a SHIT retrofit. End of story.
With all due respect but I owned my Supra since 94. 38K on the clock. Never in the 10+ years of driving did the car leave me stranded. And that include its last leg with rod knock at 225k in 2004. So perhaps with you all it might be a Yugo but I never had one issue with the car. AND that...
My statement is the same as in SF.
forget the multi plethora of gauges which are about as useful as a case of hemeriods while taking a shit, especially if they are not in your line of site of the road.
One gauge + idiot lights. Done.

I will jump in here as I had a lengthy convo with Delwest USA on this very subject nearly 5 years ago.
madsupra88.
Hate to burst that bubble (actually not really).
One thing Delwest forgot to tell you is as was mentioned before, the OEM valves seats need to be chucked as it is way to...
the sogi short shift mod is a hack. and a bad one at that. If you compare this mod to the "real short shifters". One thing that is apparent is that the real short shifters change the fulcrum point to give the user more leverage. The sogi mod has no such animal.
and a revival is not correct...
Cali approved CAT actually. Those are usually good 3-way systems.
8400 NOX...wow. That is some serious combustion chamber temps to produce that much NOx.
Anthony
ya never emntioned that it was for an ATI ;)
Here you go
Cost is steep but it is the cleanest

Crank Trigger Shells
ATI now offers a custom crank trigger shell eliminating an additional pulley being bolted...
from some number crunching... efficency of that system is at a staggering 8% (or put another way, 92% of the energy is lost in inefficencies and/or conversion factors)!
Newer alternators are a hell of a lot more efficent!

simple really
what ever the max SUSTAINED hp divide by 100.
850hp (crank) means 850/100= 8.5. that is the OD inches needed for sustained dampening at the power level required.
Hate to burst your bubble but destrux is 100% correct regardless of what you "think" you know.
there is a very specific reason even the entry level SCCA does not allow 4 point harness in racing. That anti-submarine portion of the 5 point harness is there for a reason. There is also a reason...
btw you all can thank/chastise me on that tight fit ;)
but more importantly TOYOTA.
There manufacturing tolerances on the crank are actually quite amazing. Two cranks, both where within .001 of each other. I averaged that and gave that number to ATI. I am curious has anyone NOT been able...
absolutely 100% correct. That FIA or SFI certification will save your ass in an accident. Otherwise, play russian roulette.
In the end,
with those "racing" seats. The OEM seat belt becomes worthless... meaning harness. Harness at the wrong angle = spinal compression. Harness without cage =...
