and MC-10078 to complete the package. I use them as well and love the feel of the shifter after I installed them.

Go Kyle!!!

wait a sec... i just looked at the website..... do i need both the mc-10077, and the mc-10078? it seemed to me on the website that it was the same part, just a little different. any clarification.

77 looks to be the big piece and 78 looks to be the little one at the end. So yes, you would need both.

went back to a stock after driving a sogi hack. All 5 of my previous mk3 had the hacked shifters too. Other than the position being a bit back for me (ill bend the lever forward later) I love the ability to get into gear and easily reach it from the wheel.

the sogi short shift mod is a hack. and a bad one at that. If you compare this mod to the "real short shifters". One thing that is apparent is that the real short shifters change the fulcrum point to give the user more leverage. The sogi mod has no such animal.

and a revival is not correct. This is more like a freaking zombie at this point. Mindless and wondering aimlessly.

^^ lol

I have it done to my shifter mainly because the threads had been stripped at some point (OEM know kept falling off). As far as working, it works as a shifter but I need to get a better shifter know to make it work better. Spherical knob = fail.
