OK, I'll be more helpful.
- Unbolt the transmission mount from the crossmember.
- Jack up the transmission as much as you can (so it tilts the engine forward). If you have a very thick radiator, check for fan clearance first!
- I used a flex head ratcheting wrench and the adapters that make...
Actually, I like that they stretch/break easily (the bolts that is, not the threads). Just did some work on the miata and they have much larger fasteners, and I was tightening to the torque spec...and instead of the bolt giving, the water pipe outlet broke. On the supra, the bolt would have...
That crack, no, as it's only an "ear" in the casting to allow it to bolt down. You have problems elsewhere.
I'd check plug gap first. Start with the stock gap and if that doesn't work, close the gap a bit.
Well, the nitrous and CO2 systems can left alone (just don't hook up a bottle), but the meth will help with tuning. It probably really needs a good tune, but you'd have to see what it has for electronics.
Might want to hunt around for someone that knows these cars really well up in your area...
Not really a lot to clean up. It's all there for a good reason.
Well, the NO2 and CryO2 systems could be ditched. The meth injection system would be wise to keep if you're looking to make power. It's also not methane, it's methanol ;)
Also...that's probably the steal of the century if the...
Biggest crock of crap I've ever heard. Water cooling significantly lengthens the lifespan of a turbo, that's why it was done in the first place. Hell, good luck getting your warranty covered on a water cooled turbo rebuild...
Bad idea since it's the t-stat bypass. It's why you loop the lines if you go to a non watercooled turbo.
Base of the windshield is a high pressure zone. You hurt your cooling doing that at highway speeds (not to mention the sides of the hood aren't sealed anyway)
