Faq!
Yeah Im mostly worried about injectors. I need labels that say 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 so I don't mix up the injector clips. :-)
Would be nice to label the entire harness but hey.
Will this print those labels?

Figgie nailed it. RayChem is what Im looking for. I knew I had seen it on the Indy Cars when I was working on the bastards lol!
Any idea where I can get some of this stuff? All my Indy Car contacts are dried up...
Ok guys and gals.
Ive seen this stuff a few times on some cars over the years, but never had the chance to ask the owner where they got it from.
Im looking for the high temp nylon looking wire loom/wrap to re-wrap the wiring harness in.
Ive seen some guys use it when they redo their...
Nope. The Hitachi center section is nothing like the Garrett.
Not the main cause, but part of the problem. Main solution now? Clean oil lines, good oil pressure, plenty of oil changes, good filters, and using a NEW TOYOTA OEM GASKET on the flange with the proper torque.
Back to square...
Some where on supramania is a FAQ section about AN fittings.
It also has the directions directly from Aeroquip on how to install those fittings.
Be patient grasshoppa! They do work!
Well duh.
Had a guy pull this on me with a supra. When I asked him where he was stationed, he told me a naval base in San Fransisco.
So I googled it.
Its been out of commission since the mid 80's.
I never heard from the guy again. Needless to say I never gave him any of my money.
The Hitachi designed oiling system relies on the oil feed and oil return on the same flange surface.
This makes oil pressure into the turbo dependent on the oil feed & return gasket to stay intact.
If the gasket fails, then oil makes it way directly into the return, and the turbo never...
Mike: To add - the oiling design and system of the ct26 is got to be the shitty-est ever mass produced.
But yes, the shaft really isn't the problem, its the wheel attached to it. ;-)
You are correct sir.
Sounds to me like there was possibly a piece of debris in the oil passage from the rebuild that made the oil feed clog.
No oil = no turbo. :-(
Theres nothing you can do for that turbo. It may not even be able to be rebuilt.
