The last couple years i've had an okay experience with the maft-pro.
Its pretty idiot proof with that afr tracking auto fixing feature ;)
I didn't go into timing monitor or do the timing set mods for it though.
Its time to graduate to something that will foot the power i'm building to, so i'm...
Sweet deals man!
I know what you mean about body work. I never done it myself before til i shaved the door handles myself the right way. Just needs finish coat paint (never operated a gun yet), but Goshdang did the body work look bad at first lol
The Stinger your wiring in for this project...
Picture a turbo, with a donut connecting each end, mounted on an engine. No tail pipe, you'd lose 100 percent efficiency factor. And that shit make POWA!!
ROFLz
It was hypothetical AFAIK, flame-tarded
So your helping the 'body' man's customers on the side turning wrenches i take? Thats works, way to think outside the box.
The SC setup intrigues me, guess i'll just have to wait and see how it performs.
Keep on keepin on buddy
What'd you do, waltz into his house and bet him lunch+autographs over who's faster behind the wheel? Whatzz your secretzz??? :D
Maybe you discussed wheel selection over lunch for the 'professional' choice :naughty:
Toyotanos:
That's a good thought on the pump, Flow>Pressure. Running the 550/lex usually is $$Rich$$ at idle lol
He done well with no management. You both made great power for 84*f
On your chart the air fuel ratio is omitted but i'm sure looks better than Robs lol
Do you have an EGT gauge...
There was a thread some years back on SF where some crayon in the pencil box thought recirculating exhaust through the intake would make the cleanest burn and thus be the most efficient way to pass emissions :: facepalm ::
Hey Rodel, your supra is awesome. :)
Do you guys study wheels or something? Maybe i just suck at finding online rim retailers that don't sell FWD shit... Professional walking rim catalogers lol
Great info, especially the notable difference at the fuel pump voltage change.
I've known ppl that did the 550/lex combo on stock setups and wondered how the piston got melted.
I'm confused about one part though.
You're planning on a higher volume/pressure fuel pump for top end but you...
WOW soooo yummy!!
I like how the engine bay defies the 'cluttered' first impression with how neat and sensible everything is routed on inspection.
And your right, without this site and members, nothing would be the same.
Congrats on the 'daily' beaut!
Suscribed! This is American innovation lol
Very neat project.
What was wrong with the job you had? In this economy ppl generally try to keep jobs. Are you gonna be your own boss or just wing it awhile?
Thats too bad about the first sender eating it.
I noticed you didn't say anything about bleeding the cooling system initially after all the work done, so maybe following what Nick says is that there is still air finding its way out.
What is the condition of the heater core and its' seals? The...
Do you experience a slight shake felt throught the steering wheel at speeds in excess of ~60mph?
I'm not sure if thats related but can't hurt to ask :)
Everything is nerve wracking after major work, Congrats on everything panning out fine.
Question though, where'd you mount the temp sender for the new water gauge?
water does expand which would explain filling the overflow a bit prematurely. if you don't drive till the next day, the cool night should pull some of that back in.
A bad rad cap would begin leaking as the coolant temperatures raises, needlessly filling the overflow. Also, since the cap doesn't...
^^ you have installed the ati dampener before right?
the clearance is so tight that even after you lube it I wouldn't force it on for fear of damaging $400
JOEL: I don't think the crank bolt is long enough to pull the dampener into place. Just get it clearanced, so your not swearing at...
