I spliced the broken wire directly into the wire on the female side of the connector and the car started up no problem. I have a severe rough idle though. The timing is set correctly though. Im not sure what more could cause a rough idle.
I grounded it somewhere else just now and it didn't work. Its hard to push it through the casing. If you look at yours, you'll see why.
When I come home, I will try to push it through though.

I have come to conclusion that there must be a fault within my CPS.
MaxBoostedSupra, you were correct. There is a fault in the wiring. The black wire on the male plug of the CPS is detached from the...
Yep they are grounded properly. I tried grounding them at the original spot and I tried grounding them at one of the valve cover bolts.
I replaced the phillips head valve cover screws with 10mm stainless steel bolts.
I've had this problem for a while now. The trouble with my car was that it would start on and off. Sometimes the car would start first key. Sometimes she wouldn't start at all. I figured the coil pack was on its way out. About 2 weeks ago, she wouldnt start at all. I tested the igniter and the...
I went to Advance looking for Anti-Sieze grease. I didn't want those small packets thought. I asked for a tube. They gave me Dielectric grease. Would it be ok to use Dielectric grease on my exhaust manifold studs? I just helicoiled a stud and I'm putting it back together now. Just wondering if I...
I hit a pigeon with my brothers Infiniti I35.. that count for anything?
I don't wanna hit any birds in the Supe... Im a clean freak when it comes to the front end, my wheels, and my taillights.
The car could be dusty as hell, but my taillights and Enkei's will be crisp.
$2200 Max. Thats great condition. So what if the car needs paint. You have a rust free shell, a Turbo motor that definitly needs work, a 5spd transmission, the car is already lowered, its an 89+, has foglights, mouldings and lip in good shape. It already has a $500 catback. The interior seems to...
Before you do anything... Do your HG.
It'll save you tons of time. Do it, get it over with. After that, then think about n2o.
Just my opinion. You seem as if you want to beat up on Civics and Integras. I have a feeling you're gonna spray your 7M and eventually see a little B18 walk right by...
Not much. Just prepare for oil and coolant to come out. Put some towels on the floor and have a few rags handy. It may be a good idea to plug any ports that are open also. This is just to make sure nothing crawls inside. That last thing you would want is to start your car up and then have a...
You mean the TURBO ELBOW[the piece that has the oxygen sensor] is still attached to the exhaust housing on the turbo? You have to remove those 4 nuts to separate the turbo from the elbow. Then go under the car with a ratchet with a few extensions and a thinwall 12mm deep socket. Now remove the 2...
I feel what your saying about the insurance. I live upstate right now, but I'm from the Bronx, NY. I know for sure that paying insurance for a 20 year old turbocharged coupe is difficult. My car is registered under my name and I pay my own insurance. Six months of liability for me is $1800...
