The best bird I ever his was in my Saturn about 4 years ago. It flew up over my hood as I was doing about 60 pulling onto the freeway. I thought it was clear and then it hit the antenna, which slapped the windshield like a whip and left it with a permanent kink in it. In my rearview mirror, all I ever saw was a big cloud of feathers.

Here's a link to my write up on hitting a beaver: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31554

Over the years I've also ran over and killed: a badger, a deer, and numerous birds including a magpie in Australia. I was a passenger in a pickup that hit (lightly, but enough to do some fender damage) a cow moose in Canada.

When I was in college, one of my part time jobs was cutting grass at the high school back in Wisconsin with a large diesel John Deere front deck mower, and I took out quite a few striped gophers once I figured out how to predict which way they would cut when you got within about 24" of them. :evil2:

Emus are large birds. The largest individuals can reach up to two metres (6 ft 7 inches) in height (1–1.3 metres (3.2–4.3 ft) at the shoulder) and weigh between 30 and 45 kilograms (66–100 pounds).

yes, it would suckt o hit an Emu lol

I've only hit small stuff.

Oddly enough, the only time I've ever drove my Supra out of town, to Crete, I did hit a fucking bird. I was going around a mild turn at like 65 and he just flys right in front and nails the windshield. No blood but feathers went everywhere lol

Im thinking oh crap he chipped/cracked my front bumper since its fibreglass so I pull into the next parking lot to view the damage and not a scratch scuff crack or anything. Bird was no where to be found either. No harm no fowl.

I hit a pigeon with my brothers Infiniti I35.. that count for anything?

I don't wanna hit any birds in the Supe... Im a clean freak when it comes to the front end, my wheels, and my taillights.
The car could be dusty as hell, but my taillights and Enkei's will be crisp.
