I guess I'll be ordering a throwout bearing from Toyota then. Since I'm doing the throwout bearing, what other transmission seals should I replace?
Thanks IJ.

SERIOUS? well, if your still using the stock one, I'll take a chance with the stocker. I wouldnt be surprised if it was insanely strong anyway. Its Toyota, what else can you expect?
Anyone else still running the stock throwout bearing? How much power?
How much power do you estimate you are...
I'm looking to replace my throwout bearing, as mine is gone and making a hell of alot of noise. Is the OEM throwout bearing from Toyota good for 400-450rwhp? I've heard that they have a tendency to break and whatnot.
Anyone here running 400rwhp with a stock Toyota throwout bearing?
Thanks...
Hey guys, I've been looking around for a friend of mine who wants to do a twin walbro setup. He's currently running Wolf EMS for management & Precision 1000CC injectors... turbo: GT42. Bottom end: fully built, JE's+Eagles.
Head: Stock, Transmission and clutch: Centerforce Stage 2 right now...
My downpipe already has the wideband bung, but now I need a wideband. Ive read that the AEM UEGO is a really good wideband, too bad I missed the GB here... Any of you guys running the UEGO? How is it? I read that with the MAFT Pro, you can set your AFR's for your RPM's. So if I was just driving...
So without a wideband, MAFT Pro is a no go?
Dammmmit! In that case, Looks like I'll have to go SAFC2 for now.
You use the SAFC alone correct, no VPC involved?
The MAFT Pro writeup looks really good. Definite respect to the user who did that write, nice and neat. Right now I'm looking at the cost benefit. If I buy a SAFC2, its going to be $200 used, then if I buy a Greddy Profec b, its going to be about $150 used, then I would still want the VPC...
Hey guys, I don't ask much questions on the here because I hate asking stupidass questions, but I feel this one is important. I need a way to tune my car, because Im running too rich. Although rich is better than lean in any turbo car, theres got to be a certain point where rich is just too...
7M FTW!
im out here in albany so lebanon valley is an every weekend thing for me..im going to try to come, but Friday Ive gotta work, and I dont get out until 7:30.. good luck though man, bring home the win!
Is the stock 7M crank forged. I have a feeling it isn't, but I just want to be positive. Is the 1J crank forged? I know the 2J crank is.
I have a friend attempting to run nitrous and he wants to know which are forged and whether or not a 1J or 2J crank will work in a 7M.
I have been driving my car for the past year with a code 52. I did the re-wire and it still didn't work. What damage has been done and what kind of damage could be done? Now that my car is down for the rest of the year, I am trying to locate a harness in good condition.
Got the car towed home this morning...
BROKEN COOLANT LINE FTW!
There still is oil in my coolant, so the car is down for the winter.
Gonna pull the motor and change a few things. Going to do the headgasket again, maybe an HKS instead of Cometic this time. Also, I'll be sending the head AND...
I will hate myself if its something stupid....
I "saw" it gushing out from where the manifold bolts onto the head.
When I get the car home, I'll pull it apart and see for sure.
I doubt I popped a line to the turbo because I saw coolant gushing directly out of the manifold, for seconds...
I am not doing anything to the car for the rest of the year. I don't have any money right now since I just started college and I am only working part time. I will have to save and do a...
Well what do you expect from a 17 yr old who was too anxious to boost? That's no problem. I'm glad it ended up this way. This time, I'm gonna come out harder than ever. I'm going to look at another Supra in 30 minutes.
1989 N/A Turbo - 5SPD.
My car is automatic. I have no money to buy the...
Driving to school this morning, I heard bubbling coming from under the hood. 2 minutes later I got to school.... I popped the hood and all the coolant was gushing out of the exh. mani. I recently did the HG, and I knew I messed up on one thing. My biggest mistake was not sending the block out...
c) Any other suggestions - Is it possble that I dod not put enough sealant at the front of the block where the the head meets?
That could be your answer
