check your local hardware store for pipe scraps. we cut pipe at ours and always have a ton of sections on hand we'll let people borrow. i've even grabbed 10 foot sticks off the rack for stubborn bolts before :D
compare highway speed to engine speed, or jack up the car and you should be able to rotate the driveshaft and count the number of rotations of the back wheel
my ebrake light would flicker along with the doors open and battery lights, but that's the alternator going bad. yours sounds more like the brake fluid sensor
at all. i'd stay away from that.
i remember it on top gear, they said half the switches weren't even functional and handling was shit, but it would go like a raped ape :D
