I don't understand programmed ecu's are great. Think about all the work you have to with a standalone; adding the ecu and extra parts (ie: map, wiring, etc), then you have to pay for tuning (that's good for 400 dollars). Then think, if you add or change anything to it you have tune it again...
I don't care that the ecu isn't programmable BY THE END USER... I don't want to adjust any of parameters. Mines engineers quality equipment, therefore I know it will work well. Like TechTom and G-Force, Mines adds what customers want in the ECU. However unlike TechTom and G-Force, Mines...
What pictures do you need me to take. I opened the case just to look at it once, but i don't really wanna keep opening it up, but if I find out what this ecu has exactly, I will do it. Just let me know what pictures you need.

Can anyone help me. I have a Mines VX-Rom ECU for a 7mgte. There is no information on it though. I was hoping that somebody on the forums could help me figure out that this ecu has exactly. I know that the ignition and fuel maps are differenet. That the rev limit is roughly 7800 rpms. The...
I would recommend buying a new lower speed cable, connecting that and see if that fixes your problem. The lower half (the part coming from the transmission) seems to bind up

Read the #1 post. He said he hears noises from the cockpit while going into turns and then accelerating out of them...Rpms would give you and idea right? Out of every supra I've had (4 of them) I have never had a bad LSD but they all made noise when I accelerated from lower Rpms.

There is a good chance I am going to be selling my lex-afm. Becuase I decided to go with a programed ecu that is set for 550's so I don't need it. That can also be an option for you.

Your cold start injector or idle speed control sensor could not be working properly. I think that is what is causing the car to have a low idle at inital start-up. As for the lsd. If the rpms are under about 1800 revs. the car is growling sound. What you can do, is when you go around a...
sounds to me like you have a boost leak somwhere that is causing your car to die out if you don't give it enough gas between gears. I suggest doing a major tune up. All filters, plugs and wires, oil, and you might even get your injectors cleaned. It usually only costs about $50 for a shop to...
^^^I agree, if you can part with the money use the redline 10w-40. It has worked very well for me, and I now use it everywhere; engine oil, gear oil, diff fluid, and also the redline water wetter and power steering fluid.

I went with the 550's off the early rx-7 turbo. You know, the low impedence secondaries. I have had nothing but good things from them. I flow tested them before I placed them on the car and since then I never had a problem. I recommend those. But good luck finding a set without paying a...
