my auto supra buzzes once the car gets past 4 mph. It says it does that in the handbook. its very quiet tho so maybe you guys have missed it before.
My sierra self tests its abs when the ignition comes on and makes quite a loud buzzing sound for about 20 seconds

in the uk ive heard of ford valve shims being used. apparently there an exact match and a lot cheaper. from memory there from the zetec engine found in ford focus etc.
oh. the selector goes by the foglight switch? where is the switch to turn cruise control on then? i have 5 switches on my dash. the front fogs, cruise, rear fog, rear window demist and hazard warning lights
yeah i did that. i couldnt see the joint moving when i asked my dad to rock the wheel. i couldnt feel anything when i touched the joint with my fingers either.

its for the mot though. im asuming that if its leaking grease then it will be classed as a failiure point. unless its possible to buy new rubber boots.
I know if the lower is leaking (it also has grease all round it) then that would be a failure aswell.

My passneger side (drivers side to you guys) front upper arm appears to have grease leaking out the rubber boot. Has anyone here managed to repair them? or is it time for a complete new arm? If so does anyone know if these are toyota only items? and a rough idea on price would be cool aswell as...
ok i had a look underneath and the area where the torque converter is was covered in quite wet fluid. guess its fresh stuff. im hoping it could be spillage from when i did a fluid change a few months ago. anyways i wiped it all off so ill see if it still stinks later on.
I own a na auto supra. its developed a rather worying burning smell even after short distances of say 1 or 2 miles. im pretty sure its atf fluid. does anyone know off hand if the exhaust would catch drips of leaking atf? does it run close enough to the auto box? or should i be looking elsewhere...
