i went to the docs recently as i have injured my groin playing football (soccer) that was say 4 weeks ago. Ive got to go for an ultrasound scan in 2 weeks time. they think ive got a hernia. but a chiropodist or was it a chyropractor i forget...
whats the fluid level like? also whats the fluid like? it should be red. if its brown or smells burnt it needs new fluid. but then theres a good chance the box is shagged after that.
rather than create a new thread. Where would i find a diagram of the vac lines? for a uk car with no charcoal cannister as i need to check them out to make sure theres no split in any of them

i wouldnt fancy using one of those lighters with the bottle opener part on em. BANG lol Though i can use a normal lighter to open bottles.
i got lighters all over the place but there just disposable types. havent got a zippo or anything
hmmm i drove it for a few mioles just now and the fan once warmed up spins quite freely. about 1 revolution if i give it a quick spin. bit dark to tell if the speed changed as mentioned before when i brought the revs up a bit.

hmmm well ive cleaned the air filter today so im gonna re oil it and take it for a run. After that ill see what the fan does. if its still stiff etc then ill assume its knackered.

How is it suposed to work>? when i start my car from cold it is running full speed(at engine idle) and sounds very whoosy. It is behaving completely different to my van which also uses a viscous fan set up.
ok well ill give it a go as soon as i have a spare couple of hours.
I guess its probably worth picking up a gasket set incase i end up replaceing a few. I know i never replaced the throttle body gasket when i did the plugs.

right ill go ask i figure the nearest product over here is something called easy start. the sort of thing you would spray up a shagged engines air intake?
ill have an ask at the parts store as its bound to have a different name in the uk.
hmmm would the manifold gaskets include everything from the throttle body to things like the cold start injector and the iscv? and obviously where the manifold joins the head etc.
