Is it possible that oil filled shocks were available for these cars in the past? just over the past 2 days the rear right hand side shocker has worn out completely. If i bounce the corner it bounces 3 - 4 times. And i noticed today that theres a load of oil coming it seems from the shocker...

yeah ive got a slight coolant leak. gonna keep an eye on mine aswell

tube at the back of the cylinder head is probably to blame. go check it out when the engine has warmed up a bit. edit. Its a j shaped tube

out of interest what are all the int diameter sizes of these hoses? the one i just fitted #17343 was a 5 mm int diameter. Id be interested in swaping them for silicone hoses probably in blue. but theres a few different sizes there by the looks of it

im changing all my cars drive belts over just now. Thought i may aswell whilst i had the alternator off to swap that vac pipe over. But i cant see how the air con belt comes off. Is it by loosening the tensioner pulley? as ive tried that but all that happened was the long bolt started to come...

hose, 17343 ahh well now i know what it is. and its a help to know where all the other pipes are so i can check em out aswell edit: yes though the metal pipe is 17303 cheers for ya help mate

yeah, thats gonna be a seperate fault i should think. The pipe in the picture was removed from a metal pipe that runs behind all the pulleys on the front of the engine. not too sure where it runs to just now though. bit dark to tell.

yeah fuel efficiency is almost half what it used to be. Im gonna replace the split hose first. Today i bought 3 new drive belts so when i fit them i may aswell drain the coolant and fit the new stat i bought and check out the water pump aswell. Then fit the new spark plugs.

aye im gonna see bout gettin some new pipe tomorrow. hopin the shop has some blue stuff in but if not ill put some normal black on for now and change to blue at a later date
