Whilst looking for various faults on my car i came across this pipe
it goes under the alternator, and joins between 2 thin metal pipes. this then again goes back into a rubber pipe that goes into the intake manifold. crankcase breather?? im not too sure myself
when i found this i wondered if it would be one of the causes of my high idle speeds? also are the other varios pipes in the engine the same size? like the pipe for the pas idle up? as i supose i could replace them all at the same time. and can i just get this sort of pipe from an auto parts sort of shop?
heres a piccy i took after a 5 mile drive the other night to show the high idle and low temp gauge ive been experiencing recently
incidentaly this is a piccy from a cold start. not too sure what with the cold wether lately but is this a touch smokey?
