I have the last one in the world!

I've got a new harness that I got here on SM. The guy installed it on the motor, and realized he needed an '89+ harness. I don't remember what I paid for it, or even if I'll ever use it as I have several pre '89 harnesses in great shape. I just jumped on it because it's new.

    Heater Core kicked the bucket?

Every time I've done a Supra heater core, I've removed the whole box the core is bolted to, always without draining the AC. You just have to be nimble. Besides, putting a new heater core in with the box/ducting removed is much easier, and allows you to clean all the leaves and debris out of...

    Heater Core kicked the bucket?

FYI, I've done numerous Supra heater cores, and all of those but one had A/C. I never disconnected anything A/C related. You just have to be meticulous and careful.

    Knock Sensor Question

It wouldn't matter if there was a knock anyway. Knock doesn't cause code 52. ;)

Walbro fuel pump upgrade - is 12V mod required?

Anyone doing the 12v mod should be running something along the lines of 10 gauge wire along with a new relay. I just don't trust the old wiring anymore.

Walbro fuel pump upgrade - is 12V mod required?

The only real reason to do this is when tuning the car, it takes out the "unknown" of the voltage switch from 9 to 12v. That switch is a pain to try to tune the car around. If you don't tune the car, I'd leave it as-is, personally.

    weekly car debate thread.

While I tend to like old/classic Chevrolets more than Fords, that 'Stang is drop. Dead. Gorgeous. The Camaro isn't my favorite vehicle from the late sixties, but they're a sweet ride for sure.

    Disturbing the peace

The only time I ever got "pulled over" for noise was on my way home from the dyno running a stock CT26 @15psi, electronic boost controller, and running an open BIC DDP. I was literally just cruising, as I know how loud it is. He pulled right out of his hiding spot and tailed me to my house and...

    Knock Sensor Question

No. To expand on what JJ said, read what the error code actually means: If you care to notice, everything Code 52 represents is related to electronics/wiring, not to detonation/rodknock, etc...

just gotta tell you guys what BS ive gone through! Its a long one!

Link? My bet is that is likely says something like "ideal for winter" because it's a 0w and pumps easier in cold/sub-zero conditions. I've been using GC for quite a long time, always with good oil pressure (and remember that pressure is resistance to flow). In fact, I use GC 0W30 in my e36 M3...
