Why do people add an "i" to Gracer?

I've always pronounced it BO-MEX.

What about Konig?? I have always pronounced it "CONE-IG", but have heard others say "CON-IG".

Whenever I see their logo, it has an umlaut above the "O", which would mean that it is pronounced "CONE-IG", right?

lol. another pet peeve is the diffuser/defuser spelling. isnt defuser someone who defuses a bomb? im thinking diffuser is the correct term for something bolted up under the car.
