I've heard people call it

TAIN as in "TAYN" not "TEE-N", wierd huh?

It's TAYN.

Pronounce the TE as if you were Japanese and you were saying Technical [TEH] and IN [EEN], saying "Innovation".

TEchnical INnovation.

Why do people try to pronounce Japanese parts in "perfect" Japanese?

The English language takes a word and converts it into English..

Do we call Germans, "Deutsch's" ..? No, we call them GERMANS...

You speak English, use it..

and how about airline food amirite? people put an I in gracer because I before e. Pronounciation of foriegn words is pretty difficult when you've only seen it written and even then your brain wants to put it into farmiliar context causing a sort of pseudo dyslexia. but there is no excuse for speaking "leet" in everyday life "I believe you might get your ass whupped for saying something like that around here" ~ office space
