Specs on the wheels.

NOW.

F: 18 X 12J -18, 15mm spacer, 275/35R18 FK451

R: 18 X 12J -28, 15mm spacer, 275/35R18 FK451

Don't try this at home.
Front fenderwells are fully gutted to make room.
Negative camber upper control arms.
Arches were rolled and pulled before, now they have been cut off.
Flares are for a JDM Datsun 240ZG.
Tires to be replaced with stickier tread once these get burnt.

cool chuck

I like rims!

Avant rims with a bolt pat. of 5x112 (they don't come with 5x114.3)....
Will they fit? A guy told me that they could fit by using special conkave nuts!
Is that true? :1zhelp:

What are the wheel offsets? The rear tires will be slightly stretched.

265's should get the rear tires flush with the wheels .. 245 i say up front

the offset should be in the 30's i believe.. like 32-35

how do i figure out the offset?? i actaully never heard of this lol

Offset

The offset of a wheel is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel. The offset can be one of three types (measured in millimeters).*
Zero Offset

The hub mounting surface is even with the centerline of the wheel.
Positive

The hub mounting surface is toward the front or wheel side of the wheel. Positive offset wheels are generally found on front wheel drive cars and newer rear drive cars.
Negative

The hub mounting surface is toward the back or brake side of the wheels centerline. "Deep dish" wheels are typically a negative offset.

If the offset of the wheel is not correct for the car, the handling can be adversely affected. When the width of the wheel changes, the offset also changes numerically. If the offset were to stay the same while you added width, the additional width would be split evenly between the inside and outside. For most cars, this won't work correctly. We have test fitted thousands of different vehicles for proper fitment. Our extensive database allows our sales staff to offer you the perfect fit for your vehicle.

*Backspacing, similar to offset, is the distance from the hub mounting surface to the inside lip of the wheel (measured in inches).

Hi Rodel! Wanna ask you something....:1zhelp:

At the moment I do have Azev wheels (made in Germany) 8.5 x 17 front and
10 x 17 rear with 235-45/17 and 255-40/17 (it is a little stretched in the rear)
and it is not flush. The wheels go out about 1/2 inch in front & 3/4 inch at
the rear...I do have some rub on hard cornering. My car is 1.2" front/1.0" rear lowered with
eibach pro-kit springs and tokico illumina II (tems).

Picture with my car and it's current rims/tires :biglaugh::biglaugh:

p1185670_2.jpg

p1185670_3.jpg

The car is parked on a non level surface. It is on a slight downhill, that's why the front of the
car is more lowered....

And I wanna know which is the ideal offset for 8.5 x 18 (front) and
10 x 18 (rear) with 235-40/18 Fr. and 275-35/18 Re. tires?

Some rims with a bolt pat. of 5x112 (they don't come with 5x114.3)....
Will they fit? A guy told me that they could fit by using special conkave nuts!
Is that true?

For the 8.5's a +25-+35et would be the safe way to go, the 10s a +45et would pretty much be flush with your fenders. Anything lower you might have rubbing issues and probably have to roll your fenders.
I really like your Azev rims, you can always take them to a machine shop and see if they can machine down the inner hubs 10-15mms so they would fit better.
As far as fitting 5x112s you might be able to force the wheel to fit onto the studs but they will be off balance and your car will shake and vibrate badly and one hard turn or hard braking could possibly snap the studs and be disasterous.
