255 is way too wide for a 7.5 if you want the car to feel like anything other than mush while you're driving. Either get wider wheels or deal with the fact that you have skinny wheels and can't fit a big tire.

WiiASS, thanks Im gladd you resonded, I was told by an Online sales that I could get away with 255 on back, but if you say It just wont be a fit, maybe I should go with 245
Thanks again I only ask because I wont the opinion of a fellow Supra owner,
Thanks

So I was thinking of getting new wheels for my MK3 and I'd like to get an agressive setup. I dont mind running camber, rolling the fenders and a small pull.

Here are the dimensions the rims come in:
18x8 et+30/+43
18x9 et+30/+38
18x9.5 et+15/+23

I was thinking 18x9.5 Rear ET23 and 18x9 front ET30. Or do you think I could get away with 18x9.5 ET15 Rear and 18x9.5 ET23 front? The latter wouldnt be a staggered setup, but does it matter?

What tires should I run with either?

18x8 et+30, 18x9 et+38 would be ideal with 245/275/35 tires. 18x9.5 et+15/+23
just won't work without running into rubbing issues, negative camber, etc for all around driving.

Can anyone help me with fitting issues. I am looking at 18x8.5 +38 or +35 (cannot remember which one it is) all round. What tyres would I need to get so no rubbing occurs. Will they be alright with camber etc?

245/40/18 should be good.

But he said he wanted an agressive setup and didn't mind rolling/pulling and doing what he needed to fit the wheels.

I would say 9.5 all around. With +15, you will need to run a smaller tire, you could probably squeeze a 245 in there and not have much trouble fitting everything. But if you want a little more tire, run +23.

The 8 and 9 setup will not be agressive at all.

Depending on what kind of look you want you go with a different set up. For a easy set up I would go 18x9 +30 all around with what ever tire size you want. If you want you can do a 18x9.5+ 23 in the rear but you can only fit a 245 or maybe 255 with a flat roll in the rear. +15 can work too but that is a 225 or up to a 245 in the rear max. It all comes down to how fat of a tire you want and what kind of look you are looking for.

Thanks for being so helpful, maybe someday Ill be as smart as you and I can return the favor when you ask a question.
Thanks again

If you read my Sig I specifically said I wanted all wheel questions in here. If every one asked my questions I would get questions all the time and I would have to clear out my PM box everyday. I am not trying to be a jack ass or anything but it is not like I don't check this thread.

so 18x8.5 +38 on the front
18x9.5 +38 on the rear (with dish)

245/40/18 all round would be alright without getting the guards rolled?

oh 9.5 in the rear now.. you can go up to a 275/35/18 with probably no issues. Might have a slight rub on hard dips but I think it will clear.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll get the +15/+23 setup and just get overfenders if I cant get them to fit without them. Narrow tires doesnt matter, they are even cheaper ;)

i need to know how 18x 8.5 w/ 20mm offset front and 18x 9.5 w/ 25 offset rear will fit. will they stick out at all?

It all depends on your height and alignment. At a moderate height the wheel will be flush with the fender.

Sounds good.

also how exactly do offsets work? smaller offset more pushed out or in wheels are?

Lower offset pushes the wheel out more. That set up can work but you will need to roll and probably need to run a skinny tire in back like a 245 or smaller.
