I am a shift supervisor for Vance Global Protection Service, and soon to be Asst. Project Manager. (If I stay) I have a 14 year background in Telecom, Construction and Engineering, and want to go back into that field so I won't be broke all the time. LMAO I also build computers for a hobby. Mainly gaming machines...

I used to do bodywork and paint, and if you have any skill at all you are being severely underpaid. I worked in the Chicago metro area, was paid $16/hour as an apprentice for 6 months, and after that I was making ~$1,500/week. There were three really good guys that had been there for 15+ years that did high quality work and were making six figures. Keep in mind this was like 10 years ago too..

I'm not saying everybody around here makes that, but if you can get into a good shop in a busy area, you can't help but make good money. A shop around here with a good reputation gets more work than can be handled. As long as you can produce, the shop will compensate you.
