I heard that the pay at best buy sucks... but I guess it might depend on where you are. I drive parts around for toyota.... and I am in college. The pay sucks ass, so I am basically there until I graduate.

I am currently in school full time and should finish up my second B.S. in May. I do full service design and web programming as an independent contractor about 40 hours per week. The pay is great and I love the work.

I left a job at Volvo last August after 8 years. The pay was unbelievable the first 3 years, good the 4th and 5th years, and terrible for years 6-8. This downturn was despite significant increases in personal production. I felt I was not being paid what I was worth and asked for a raise. They agreed, but after a year, they never lived up to the agreement they made. So I left.

At least I know who to blame later.

You'll also know who to praise later...............:icon_bigg

I'm a construction worker. I build houses, decks, fences, vinyl siding.........anything to do with working on houses. I have to do plumbing, electrical and painting as well. Most of the time I love my job, but here lately the sun is killing me. It's been over a hundred for about a week, and my pansy ass can't take it much longer.

full time Student and full time cook at a small restaurant near my house.

15 credit hours this semester, alongside 45 hours of working in a kitchen (prep as well as line. I usual run the grill, fryer and sautee positions.)

It's alot of long hours, but hopefully school will pay off. I just finished a 2 year hiatus from education (1 semester of college, followed by 2 years of 60-70 hour weeks in afforemention restaurant.) No idea as to major choice yet, but I've got time to decide

I need another job.

Have you applied for work at any local tanning salons?................:biglaugh:

The pay will be the same, but you would get to meet lots and lots of tan'd gorgeous women, but I know you don't like tan women. I just find that WRONG...............I guess the pasty white skin is an aquired taste that I haven't aquired..............:icon_bigg

I lived in Phoenix for three years and there's no comparrison. You wouldn't be out here a day, and you'd be begging for Arizona................The humidity here makes it unbearable not the heat. The heat is just the icing on the melted cake.

Yea...grew up in Bama (B'ham). The humidity does suck. But I have to tell ya Jay, with all the pools and irrigation going on in the valley, the humidity has gone up quite a bit here. It's the monsoon now and its friggin killin me. Not like Bama, but at 112 it just doesn't matter ;)
