NO BEWBIES 4 YOU TONIGHT!

Now I just wish I could get the results on my MRI to compare with yours.

Yes I read between the lines, thank you for bringing it to my attention again.:sarcasm:

If you show me yours, I'll show you mine:naughty:

Had a bunch of em always take your own CD ;)

They talking a laminectomy or a fusion?

The tech burned a cd for me right after she was finished but my doctor has it now.
We haven't actually discussed exactly what he is going to do yet but I highly doubt a laminectomy would do me any good. The disk is herniating into my spinal cord. I imagine he's going to go in, scrape out all the disk, and then fuse with a plate and donor bone. My friend and coworker who is using the same doctor had C3 C4 and C5 fused last year and I think I will have to same procedure but not as extensive as his.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish my build thread and very Happy Birthday!!! It's one year old and has gone through three Supras. In this past year I have experienced these emotions.

His original car in this thread was a VERY nice grey N/A that he sold, so that he could chase the turbo dream. I myself drove a nice grey turbo car that was taken away by a drunk driver ( can be seen in my profile). Parts from it can be seen on the shell that I swapped parts over to. I make no attempt to hide the fact that my favorite MKIII color is GREY. Ken often regrets selling his N/A, but he and I both love his new car too. He has learned alot along the way. Anyway, at one time, he had said he may have a chance to get his grey car back. That was a good while ago though, so I guess it's not gonna happen. I just keep pushing the grey!

I wish you would have just turbo'd the grey car. Any news on getting that one back?

Just rub my nose in it like when a dog craps on the carpet.:thefinger

Yes I should've kept the grey car so STFU:icon_razz

The only thing I don't miss about it is the burgundy interior. I like my grey leather I have now and my 86.5 seems smoother.

Update on me again. My surgery is scheduled for April 7th.

Car: I finally was able to replace the elbow and downpipe. I ended up getting a supra sport elbow to use on my 3"downpipe. Last week I thought I was going to have a hook up on a good used 57 trim CT 26 with a 3" elbow already attached. I went to look with money in hand and quickly realized why he wanted to sell so cheap. There were a lot of chips in the fins and more shaft play than I care to mention. I politely declined and went on my way very dissappointed. So got the suprasport and DP installed today. Then the car would not start. No codes and no spark. I'm pissed and in my little tantrum I wiggle and jerk every wire I could find around the CPS since I'm suspecting it anyway. I go to start and it cranks up. Yeah! Me and the neighbor kid go for a ride and it's not running too good. I then step on the gas and after a few seconds the car seemed like it died but I think I hit fuel cut. I stomped on it again and it happened again. The check engine light comes on. I have Code 34 (I really really love having that Supermonitor!!) I pull up in the driveway, pop the hood and the soft hose coming off the 3000 pipe is blown partially off. Hmm, seems I forgot to tighten down the clamps. Also seems that my CPS O-ring is bad since it's smoking so bad around the CPS. Shit! Add that to the list.

I then take it for another drive and have no issues and it ran great. Now I just need to find my weak spot in the CPS wiring. It's further back on the harness several inches away from the CPS I supsect.

OOOHHH! And to top it all off a @#$%*& mouse or rat gnawed a hole in my brake fluid reservoir! I hope he choked to death on it! Yes, brake fluid EVERYWHERE!

Wow, Sounds like you are just about to catch up to me. Only 25 more glitches to go, by then I will probably have found out about a few more. Sounds like you had fun anyway. Brake fluid reservoir is not that bad on labor or price. Just be glad it was not the clutch reservoir.

To save a PM, since it has been mentioned here already, I got my MRI results today. Turns out my problem, is more like 3 problems.

1. Carpel Tunnel in both arms

2. Bulging disc in my neck.......on the side of the neck that doesn't hurt so bad. He doesn't think it's bad enough for surgery.

3. The Thoracic Outlet problem was not as bad as I was told earlier. He said I did have a real tight nerve bundle coming off the brain stem, but no extra first rib that would be cause for surgery.

He wants me to try to use a wrist support that holds the wrist in an upward position while I'm sleeping. I've tried it before, and hated it. He also prescribed a muscle relaxer and something else. He said that he couldn't prescribe any medicine that would work better for the carpel tunnel than the medicine I am already taking for my Diabetes

I pulled to brake fluid reservoir off the blue car already and will put it on the white one soon. I'm really not looking forward to replacing that CPS o-ring. So much to do for such a little thing. I should really think about relocating my power steering reservoir. I've still got my NA one laying around somewhere.

Scott I'm glad you finally got your results. I went to the Doc this morning and asked if he would pull up my MRI so my wife could see what's going on and I've actually got TWO herniated disks. C6 and C7. C6 is nowhere near as bad but I think he is going to go ahead and fix it also while he's in there digging around my neck. How does he want to treat your bulging disk? You may eventually need it fixed.

Oh and forgot to mention in my previous post....I've got an f-ing head cold!!!!

Sounds like your having fun and making progress. The work is always rewarding when you do it right and things work! My cps smokes a bit until the engine gets hot... I heard alot of ppl have this issue.

I'm still having my damn vacuum leak from the egr valve gasket. So I should have a new one this week. I am fixing the backseats to! First time since I got the car have they been in the car. I haven't done much to my supra cause of $$$ issues but when I get the vacuum leak fixed imma take some good videos!

metal PS reservoir > ugly yellow plastic PS reservoir

It's easy to move out of the way...

The CPS O-ring isn't too hard, just make sure you get the timing set up in the right spot before removing the CPS, after it's out you may have to (CAREFULLY) cut the old one off since it's usually very hard now.

You may have to gently tap the CPS back in since the O-ring is quite tight (that's a good thing).

Well I hit a major milestone for the car today. Actually two milestones.
First is being brave enough to take it on a trip to the muffler shop 18 miles and making it.
p968480_1.jpg

Second was getting the exhaust put on. I cannot tell you the difference it made. It's definately quieter than an open downpipe but the car seems to run smoother and is more responsive. I can't believe the power it has. As soon as I took off from the shop I was like "oh shit" because it scratched shifting into second. It ran so damn good coming back to the house. It gave me serious wood, the blue vein throbber kind! Here's a short video of the exhaust after I got home. I took this with my cellphone so apologize for the audio quality. It is extremely windy here today.
