cool to see you driving it Ken! I couldn't even decipher what was a shift, let alone if you even boosted in that video. Hopefully you get the coolant filled, and have no more problems with it. Maybe you'll also find the other camera. You didn't say how it drove thogh. Best I can tell, it's not too bad.

Yeah the sound is awful:icon_mad:

On the little drive I did before that one I did boost a little and it was so damn loud I could hardly stand it but I did feel a big difference over the GE. Also when I turned into my driveway I got on it and got the rear end sideways. I love that LSD already. Overall it was very smooth. Driving it reminded me of the suspension work that it will need. It kinda likes to roadwalk just a tad. I'm hoping new tires will fix that. The ones on it came from the blue car and it sat for about 4 years.

I'll get a video with that other camera and post it and you'll be able to hear the shifts. Very smooth!

Well I've got a catalytic converter and muffler on order. I went with the 3" hi-flo cat from exhaust depot that jdub recommened and the muffler is a magnaflow 3" inlet with dual 2.5" outlets. I've also got my elbow and downpipe ready to go on I just need to get a gasket for inbetween the elbow and turbo. Feeling lazy today and tomorrow is supposed to be very cold and stormy. I was wanting to put the fender well and mudlfap back on the passenger side but just said fuck it today. I will get my starter signal wire issue resolved later this week also. Once I get that done and get my exhaust parts in, it's off to get a temp tag for it and first get the exhaust and then some new tires.

Scott, you've got a pm

Ken, I got the PM, and the starter fix makes good sense to me. That sounds like it will work fine. I totally understand your approach to the car today. I drank so much last night that I've been the same way today myself. I pulled that IC pipe, and haven't touched it since. I at least need to put it back on so I can drive it tomorrow to get the car transferred into my name and get a current tag on it. I found out Friday that doing that is required. I told that cop that I had planned to do it while I was off work on Monday already for an MRI, but he wrote me an expired tag ticket anyway.

Well I just need my elbow-turbo gasket and then I'm ready to go get all this shit put on. Today I'll mess with the starter (I hope) but for sure want to put the inner fender well and mudflap back on. I made my own gasket for between the downpipe and elbow out of some stuff I bought at a parts store. It's exhaust gasket material. Has anyone else ever done that? I was told it would withstand the heat. It was a bitch to cut.
