Good job Ken. It's all down hill from here, and I feel honored that a fellow Alabamian offered you such great advice. Usually we're just getting blamed for stuff and not getting credit for anything good.............:biglaugh:

George and Noah's cars make me sick too Ken, so don't feel like the Lone Ranger........:icon_bigg

Not near as far out of the way as we are..............:evil2:

He can do like Dave and rent a car to make it to the meet. I promise to give him a ride in the Torqueless Wonder.

Ken, glad I could help.lol Your pace lately has me feeling a little inadequate. Since I dropped my gas tank to install my fuel pump, you have pulled one motor, installed another motor, had problems and fixed them, and made great progress towards finishing that up. My gas tank is still not even back in! GREAT JOB!

That picture posted above is a great example to those that did not know there were two different shades of maroon MKIII. What could y'all have possibly been doing to those two beautiful cars?????????

You wouldn't be able to handle the lack of torque.................:sarcasm:

Dave, not a jab at all, only pointing out how much of an effort you made to make it to Chicago.

That's true. But will I have plenty of time to work out all the bugs I know I'll have and will I have the money to fix 'em. It also needs a bigger turbo, maft-pro, injectors, AFPR, Intercooler, tires, struts, and an 3"exhaust.

At least do the 3" exhaust before Texas! Then you can take your time to be sure you still want the rest.

Ok, so I tried to do too much in one day and it has me stressed. I went shopping this morning, bought a battery, oil, transmission fluid, powersteering fluid, and some hose for the oil cooler. First I got the oil cooler hooked up. Let me say that's not as easy as it may seem. It was a bitch getting the hoses where they need to go and over the pipes. I then tackled the power steering hoses that came from the ge reservoir. I did some serious ghetto fabbing to get those bitches on. Then I went after the intercooler. I've got it mounted for the most part, just need to bolt down one more place. It would have been alot easier without the bumper on though. Then I connected my speed source hot pipe, again, not very easy. Then I tried to figure out my ic piping. I cannot for the life of me figure out how that damn hard piece of plastic piping goes through the fender and back around. I thought that was going to be the easiest thing to do today. Anyway, I was very frustrated.

I did put the battery in and hooked it up. I turned on the key and OH MY GOD! The Supermonitor came on!!! I was excited. So then I thought I would just bump the starter.....nothing but just a click behind the dash.:3d_frown:
That's when I called it a day. I have to work tomorrow, which is probably a good thing so I'll have some time away from that bitch.

The only thing that I did today that didn't give me any trouble was to put some oil in it. Now that was easy.:sarcasm:
