what does 70mph, rain, and a wall get you?

Good decision!

While it's easy to get caught up in the emotion of owning a particular car in the end it's just a car.

You could sink so much cash into repairing this one and end up with a lemon or look at it as a chance to correct any errors/things not to your liking and move on and end up with a better car.

Now and again you can end up taking just about a total loss (see pics of my Datto on page 2 of my pics thread) but that's part of the game.

You walked away from the accident and that's what's important.

Sorry to hear that man. Same thing happened to my buddies RX-7 but not in the rain. I have some rear Quarter panels from an 87 but the are pretty rusty. Also have the doors.

Any word from Werner Enterprises? Did you file a police report? Why are you tearing it apart before things are resolved with the truck that caused the accident? :aigo:

sell the supra as a totalled vehicle, and sue the semi company for emotional damages, and other losses. Take the money and put it towards a new donor vehicle and do what you want to it.

haha unless the judge is a supra owner i don't think the emotional damage thing will fly

Actually it's the getting tagged in the ass by a tractor trailer that causes the emotional damage. I can't think of too many other things that would be more terrifying behind the wheel.

I'll bet trucks scare you now and it's difficult for you to drive near them.
