This is the 3rd my engine has been apart in 2months and this motor doesn't have one mile

There was actually three bits of metal.

New Monroe max lift hood struts, work beautifully but I found out today that the rear ones are starting to go out, so soon I will be replacing those. I also found out that my oil level is very very low when I checked it there was a little bit of oil on the tip of the dipstick and that confuses me. I have not seen any oil leaking from the car but there has been an oil burning type smell I can't find where it's leaking from.

hood struts are sexy! i picked up a working pair from a junk yard for 20$. as for you oil burning smell do you have exesive smoke out your Exhaust? you may not have a leak but you could be burning oil.

No smoke at all although it has been cold here lately but the smoke doesn't look or smell like anything out of the ordinary. Oil smoke is a thick white smoke right? The smoke I have seen from my exhaust ever since it got cold was very thin or light smoke that you see coming from exhausts in the cold. Any tips on how I can hunt down this oil issue?

but for like 20 more you could have new ones

im also looking to gather bushings for the rear subframe and such, i know someone with a jza70 subframe think i'll put eveything on that and just swap over for less downtime but keep my diff

I just attempted maxing it. Had to let off at 135.. It easily has more in it..
